Do You Do All The Safety Checks ?
Here is a hunting fact from a reliable source . “According to the U.S. Coast Guard , hunters are involved in an average of 35 major boating accidents a year , resulting in 14 deaths and 27 serious injuries. Eighty percent of these reported deaths occurred by drowning , and 85 percent of the victims were not wearing a personal flotation device . ”
Here’s a tip from me – wear your life jacket it will be your best friend when you find yourself in a position that is dangerous. There are lots of flotation devices now that you don’t even know that your are wearing. We have them for out boating and they work great. You do not need to use the old bulky kind they are old and out of date. We use them for sitting on to keep out bottoms warm.
This is one safety must don’t be careless you have families to go home to. So go home alive , safe and happy .
